Peter Jackson was a British cinematographer and editor. He worked extensively in British television, serving as director of photography on series including *Flambards* (1979), *The Darling Buds of May* (1991–1993), *A Touch of Frost* (1992–2006) and *Jonathan Creek* (1998).

His other credits include *Hamish Macbeth* (1995–1997), *Micawber* (2001–2002) and *The Quest* (2002). He was a member of the Guild of British Camera Technicians. Jackson died on 12 November 2006 in Harrogate, Yorkshire.
