## Biography

Peter Kwong (1952–2025) was an American actor known for his roles in film and television. He played Rain, one of the Three Storms, in John Carpenter’s *Big Trouble in Little China* (1986) and appeared as Tommy Tong in *The Golden Child* (1986).

Kwong began his screen career in the mid-1970s with guest roles on series including *Wonder Woman*, *The A-Team*, *Miami Vice* and *MacGyver*. Later television credits included *Full House*, *Drake & Josh*, *Lethal Weapon* and a voice role on *King of the Hill*. Film work also encompassed *Gleaming the Cube* (1989), *Cooties* (2014) and others.

He trained with the East/West Players and the Groundlings, and was an accomplished martial artist. Kwong served on the SAG National Board of Directors for more than a decade, the AFTRA National Board of Directors and the Television Academy Board of Governors.
