## Biography

Peter Levy is an Australian cinematographer. Born in Sydney, New South Wales, he has been a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society since 1983 and the American Society of Cinematographers since 2000.

He is known for his collaborations with director Stephen Hopkins on feature films including *A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child* (1989), *Predator 2* (1990), *Judgment Night* (1993), *Blown Away* (1994), *Lost in Space* (1998) and *The Reaping* (2007), as well as *Broken Arrow* (1996) and *Race* (2016). His television credits include episodes of *24* (2001–02), the pilot of *Californication* (2007), *House of Lies* (2012–15), *MacGyver* (2016–17) and one episode of *Homeland* (2020). He won the Australian Cinematographers Society Cinematographer of the Year award for *Predator 2* and received two Primetime Emmy Awards.
