## Biography

Peter O. Almond is a film and television producer. He produced *Thirteen Days* (2000), directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Kevin Costner, and *The Baby-Sitters Club* (1995).

Earlier in his career Almond worked in public television, producing reports for the Emmy-winning WNET series *The 51st State*. He has produced other films including *The Photographer* (2000) and *Virtual JFK: Vietnam If Kennedy Had Lived* (2008), and developed international co-productions such as the Russian-language feature *Raspad* (1990).

Almond has a background in urban planning; he taught city planning at Yale and worked in Mayor John Lindsay’s administration before entering film and television.
