Peter Sasdy is a British film and television director. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he has directed numerous television series and several horror films for Hammer.

His credits include episodes of the series *Callan* (1967) and the Nigel Kneale-scripted television play *The Stone Tape* (1972). For Hammer he directed *Taste the Blood of Dracula* (1970), *Countess Dracula* (1971) and *Hands of the Ripper* (1971). He also directed *The Lonely Lady* (1983), for which he received a Razzie Award for Best Director, and the Thames Television series *The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾* (1985–1987).
