Peter Williams (1915–2003) was an American-born British actor who appeared in film, theatre and television. He served as a major in the British Army.

Williams is best known for playing private detective Don Carter in the British crime series *Shadow Squad* (1957–1959). His film roles include Captain Reeves in *The Bridge on the River Kwai* (1957), Constable Farrow in *Footsteps in the Fog* (1955), and uncredited parts in *The Ladykillers* (1955) and *The Man Who Knew Too Much* (1956).

He was married to Helen 'Toto' Irving and had two children. Williams was active from 1948 to 1980.
