## Biography

Phil Dusenberry (1936–2007) was an American writer and advertising executive. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 1984 film *The Natural*, directed by Barry Levinson and starring Robert Redford, with Roger Towne.

Dusenberry was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Midwood High School and Emory & Henry College. He spent most of his career at the BBDO advertising agency, rising to chairman of BBDO North America, and created campaigns including the Pepsi slogan “The Choice of a New Generation”.
