## Biography

Philip Chambers (12 September 1936 – 13 March 1987) was a British television writer. He contributed scripts to several 1960s series, including two episodes of *The Avengers* in its third season: 'The Nutshell' (1963) and 'The Outside-In Man' (1964).

His other television credits include episodes of *Interpol Calling* (1959–1960) and *Dr. Finlay's Casebook* (1965). He also wrote an uncredited idea for an episode of *Adam Adamant Lives!* (1966) and authored stories for the Sexton Blake Library pulp series.
