Philip Zhao is an American actor of Chinese descent, also credited as Zhao Jia-zheng or Jiazheng Zhao. Born on 20 September 2004 in Rockville, Maryland, he made his screen debut as Sho in Steven Spielberg’s *Ready Player One* (2018).

He was cast in the role through an open worldwide talent search and had no previous acting experience. Zhao received a nomination for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Leading Young Actor at the 40th Annual Young Artist Awards in 2019. He is also credited in the short film *Kung-Fu Cops*, which was in post-production as of recent records.
