## Biography

Philippa Campbell is a New Zealand film and television producer. She trained as an actor at Toi Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School and graduated with a B.A. from Victoria University of Wellington. In the 1980s she headed Television New Zealand’s in-house Drama Department Script Unit, editing over 100 hours of television drama, before moving into producing.

Her feature film credits as producer include *Via Satellite* (1998), *Rain* (2001), *No. 2* (2006), and *Black Sheep* (2006). She produced both seasons of Jane Campion’s *Top of the Lake* (2013–2017).

Campbell has also worked in theatre as Literary Manager at the Auckland Theatre Company and is a partner in the Auckland-based production company Field Theory.
