Phyllis Love was an American stage and television actress. Born Phyllis Ann Love on 21 December 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa, she died on 30 October 2011 in Menifee, California.

She joined the Actors Studio in New York and appeared in several Broadway productions in the 1950s, including originating the role of Rosa Delle Rose in the original production of *The Rose Tattoo* (1951), for which she won the Clarence Derwent Award. Other Broadway credits included *The Country Girl* (1950) and *Bus Stop* (1955).

Love played Mattie Birdwell in the film *Friendly Persuasion* (1956). She made guest appearances in numerous television series from the 1950s to the 1970s, including episodes of *The Twilight Zone*, *Perry Mason*, *Gunsmoke* and *Alfred Hitchcock Presents*. She retired from acting in the early 1970s.
