## Biography

Pierre Fabre (1933–2006) was a French writer, actor and assistant director. Born in Wimereux, Pas-de-Calais, he appeared as the drunk man in the café in François Truffaut's *Jules and Jim* (1962).

As a screenwriter he contributed to films including *Tout dépend des filles...* (1980) and the television series *Nestor Burma, détective de choc* (1982). Fabre was married to the actress Anna Karina from 1968 to 1974.
