Pierre Morel (born 12 May 1964) is a French film director and cinematographer. He trained at the École supérieure de réalisation audiovisuelle (ESRA) in Paris and began his career as a camera operator and cinematographer, working on films including *The Transporter* (2002) and projects produced by Luc Besson.

Morel made his directorial debut with the action film *District 13* (2004). He subsequently directed *Taken* (2008), *From Paris with Love* (2010), *The Gunman* (2015), *Peppermint* (2018) and *Freelance* (2023), among other features.
