## Biography

Piers Ashworth is a British screenwriter, producer and director. He has written numerous feature films, frequently collaborating with Nick Moorcroft and Meg Leonard.

His screenwriting credits include *St Trinian's* (2007), *St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold* (2009), *Burke & Hare* (2010), *Fisherman's Friends* (2019), *Blithe Spirit* (2020), *Save the Cinema* (2022), *Fisherman's Friends: One and All* (2022) and *Bank of Dave* (2023). He has also produced several of these projects, including *Bank of Dave* and *The Loneliest Boy in the World* (2022).

Earlier work includes writing for television, such as the 2002 television film *Sherlock: Case of Evil*, and the feature *Oh Marbella!* (2003), which he also directed.
