## Biography

Pietari Peltola is a Finnish cinematographer. He studied cinematography at Aalto University’s School of Arts, Design and Architecture and is a member of the Finnish Society of Cinematographers.

Peltola’s feature credits include *They Have Escaped* (2014), *Void* (2018), *Dogs Don't Wear Pants* (2019), *Eden* (2020), *Kikka!* (2022) and *Nightborn* (2026). He received the Sven Nykvist Award at the Gothenburg International Film Festival for *They Have Escaped* and the Jussi Award for Best Cinematography for *Dogs Don't Wear Pants*.
