## Biography

Piotr Dominiak is a Polish painter, animator and visual effects artist. He graduated from the Łódź Academy of Fine Arts and worked on painting commissions including shop signs, murals and theatre sets, as well as casual jobs such as grill chef while seeking painting work.

He painted backdrops for the Oscar-winning short *Peter and the Wolf* (2006) and served as head of painting animation on Dorota Kobiela's short *The Little Postman*. On *Loving Vincent* (2017) he was head of painting animation from 2012, co-designed the painting animation workstation, supervised 125 painters during production and contributed as production designer, storyboard artist and matte painter.

Dominiak worked on *The Peasants* (2023) as head of animation, animation director and production designer.
