## Biography

Rachael Abigail Holder is an American filmmaker, director, producer and screenwriter. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, to Guyanese immigrants, she holds a BA from Fordham University and an MFA in playwriting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

She created, wrote and directed the web series *I Love Bekka & Lucy* (2017). Holder has directed episodes of the television series *Dickinson* (2019), *Amber Brown*, *Run the World*, *Everything’s Gonna Be Okay*, *Love Is* and *Florida Girls*. Her feature directorial debut, *Love, Brooklyn* (2025), premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
