Rachel Alter is a writer and producer. She has contributed to several television series, including as writer and story editor on *The Society* (2019) and as staff writer and writer on *Heels* (2021).

Alter worked on *Outer Banks* (2020–) as writer, executive story editor and later as co-executive producer and supervising producer. She served as producer on the second season of *Loki* (2023). She also wrote the short film *Two Questions* (2019).
