Rachel Shukert is an American writer and producer. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she studied theatre at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and began her career as a playwright and actor before moving into television writing.

Her television credits include writing for *Red Band Society* (2014), *Supergirl* (2015–2016), *GLOW* (2017–2019, also executive story editor), *Cursed* (2020), *The Baby-Sitters Club* (2020–2021, which she created and showran), *The Handmaid’s Tale* (2022, also executive producer) and *Nine Perfect Strangers* (2025).
