## Biography

Rachel Zeffira is a Canadian composer, soprano and multi-instrumentalist based in London. She is one half of the duo Cat's Eyes with Faris Badwan of the Horrors.

She studied voice and organ at the Conservatorio Di Musica F.E. Dall'Abaco di Verona and oboe at the University of Victoria in Canada. In 2001 she founded the Capital Children's Choir, which she directs. As Cat's Eyes she composed the score for Peter Strickland's *The Duke of Burgundy* (2014), also serving as conductor, orchestrator and performer on the soundtrack. She composed the score for *Elizabeth Harvest* (2018).
