Ralph Wheelwright (1898–1971) was an American screenwriter and producer. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career as a journalist before moving into film publicity at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the 1920s and 1930s. He joined the studio's writing department in 1943.

Wheelwright received story credit on *Blossoms in the Dust* (1941). He later wrote the story for *Man of a Thousand Faces* (1957) and contributed to other films including *Thunder Afloat* (1939) and *These Wilder Years* (1956). He also produced *Two Smart People* (1946) and *Tenth Avenue Angel* (1948).
