Ray Baker is an American actor who has worked in theatre, film and television. Born on 9 July 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska, he grew up in Denver, Colorado, graduated from the University of Denver and spent twenty years based in New York, where he appeared on and off Broadway and in regional theatre. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989.

A character actor with more than 100 screen credits, Baker is known for roles including Mr. Kelso in *Rain Man* (1988), Bob McClane in *Total Recall* (1990), Mr. Kaysen in *Girl, Interrupted* (1999), and appearances in series such as *Criminal Minds* (2006), *Coach Carter* (2005) and *Heroes* (2006–2008). He has also worked as Raymond Baker in some credits.
