## Biography

Ray Chan (1967–2024) was a British art director and production designer. He studied graphic design at Liverpool School of Art and completed a postgraduate programme at Kingston School of Art.

Chan worked extensively with Marvel Studios, beginning as supervising art director on *Thor: The Dark World* (2013). He held the same role on *Guardians of the Galaxy* (2014), *Avengers: Age of Ultron* (2015), *Doctor Strange* (2016), *Avengers: Infinity War* (2018) and *Avengers: Endgame* (2019). As production designer his credits include the Disney+ series *The Falcon and the Winter Soldier* (2021), *Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves* (2023) and *Deadpool & Wolverine* (2024). He received Art Directors Guild awards for *Guardians of the Galaxy* and *Avengers: Endgame*.
