## Biography

Ray Lovelock, also credited as Raymond Lovelock, was an Italian actor and musician. He was born on 19 June 1950 in Rome to an Italian mother and English father, and died on 10 November 2017 in Trevi, Umbria.

He began as an extra while at college and was discovered performing in a rock band at the Roman nightclub The Piper alongside actor Tomas Milian. His first credited film role was in the spaghetti western *Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot!* (1967). His breakthrough came in the crime thriller *Bandits in Milan* (1968).

Lovelock appeared in numerous Italian genre films and international productions. Notable roles include Fyedka in *Fiddler on the Roof* (1971), George in *The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue* (1974), Carmine in *Almost Human* (1974), and Tom in *The Cassandra Crossing* (1976). He also released several music singles in Italy and Japan.
