## Biography

Ray McKinnon is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. Born in Adel, Georgia, he graduated with a degree in theatre from Valdosta State University in 1981.

He has appeared in films including *Apollo 13* (1995), *O Brother, Where Art Thou?* (2000), *The Blind Side* (2009), *Mud* (2013) and *Ford v Ferrari* (2019), playing Phil Remington. On television he has appeared in *Sons of Anarchy* as Lincoln Potter and created the series *Rectify*.

With his wife, the actress Lisa Blount, and Walton Goggins, McKinnon founded the production company Ginny Mule Pictures. Their short film *The Accountant* (2001), which he wrote and directed, won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
