## Biography

Raymond Khoury is a Lebanese screenwriter and novelist. He began his career in screenwriting after working as an architect, children's book illustrator and bond salesman. His early screenplays were shortlisted for a Fulbright Fellowship in Screenwriting.

Khoury has written for the BBC series *Spooks* (also known as *MI-5* in the US) and *Waking the Dead*. He later turned one of his screenplays into the novel *The Last Templar*, published in 2006, which became a New York Times bestseller. He has also served as co-producer on the series *Dinotopia*.
