## Biography

Rebecca Johnson is a British writer and director. After graduating with a Fine Art degree, she worked in community filmmaking with young people in Brixton for over a decade, producing short films including the multi-award-winning *Top Girl* (2009).

She has directed episodes of several television series, including *Call the Midwife* (2018), *The Magicians* (2017–2018), *Supergirl* (2017), *The Flash* (2019), *The Rook* (2019) and *Motherland: Fort Salem* (2020). Her feature film *Honeytrap* (2014) was released to positive reviews. Johnson was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2009 and selected for BAFTA's Elevate Programme in 2017.
