## Biography

Redmond Morris, 4th Baron Killanin, is an Irish film producer. Born in Dublin on 26 January 1947, he is the eldest son of Michael Morris, 3rd Baron Killanin, former president of the International Olympic Committee. He was educated at Gonzaga College in Dublin, Ampleforth College and Trinity College Dublin.

In the 1970s Morris worked as an assistant director before becoming a production manager on films including *The Draughtsman's Contract* and *Gorky Park*. He later moved into producing and executive producing. He is credited as producer on *The Butcher Boy* (1997) and co-producer on *The Wind That Shakes the Barley* (2006). Other credits include co-producer on *Interview with the Vampire* (1994) and producer on *The Reader* (2008), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
