## Biography

Reed De Rouen was an American actor and screenwriter who worked primarily in the British film and television industry. He appeared in supporting roles in films including *The Third Man* (1949) and *Billion Dollar Brain* (1967), and on television in series such as *Doctor Who* (1966), in which he played Pa Clanton.

As a writer, he contributed teleplays and adaptations to *The Avengers* (1961), as well as episodes of *Ghost Squad*, *The Man in Room 17* and *Man in a Suitcase*. He died in London in 1986.
