## Biography

Reeve Jefferson Carney is an American actor, musician, singer and songwriter. Born on 18 April 1983 in New York City, he is a grand-nephew of the actor Art Carney. He trained at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music.

Carney originated the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Broadway musical *Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark*. He played Dorian Gray in the television series *Penny Dreadful* (2014–2016) and Orpheus in the original Broadway cast of *Hadestown*. Other screen credits include Riff Raff in the 2016 television film *The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again* and Tom Ford in the 2021 film *House of Gucci*.
