Regina Y. Hicks is an American television writer and producer. She began her career in the 1990s and has written for series including *Sister, Sister* (1994), *Girlfriends* (2000) and *Insecure* (2016).

Hicks attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor's degree in television production and a master of fine arts in drama. Her film writing credits include *Jump In!* (2007), *Camp Rock* (2008), *Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam* (2010) and *Drumline: A New Beat* (2014). She co-created and serves as showrunner on the Netflix series *The Upshaws* (2021).
