Reginald Cheyne Berkeley was a British writer of stage plays and screenplays. Born in London in 1890, he trained as a lawyer and served as a Liberal Party politician before turning to writing.

His stage plays include *The Lady with the Lamp* (1929) and *The Man I Killed* (1931), the latter adapted for the screen as *Broken Lullaby* (1932). In Hollywood he wrote screenplays including *Cavalcade* (1933), *The World Moves On* (1934) and *Carolina* (1934). He died in Los Angeles in 1935.
