## Biography

Reginald Harkema is a Canadian film editor and director. Born in 1967 in Burnaby, British Columbia, he began his career as an editor in the 1990s.

His editing credits include the films *Hard Core Logo* (1996), *Last Night* (1998), *Childstar* (2004) and *Goon* (2011), for which he received three Genie Award nominations for Best Achievement in Editing. He has also edited episodes of the television series *Orphan Black* and *Metal Evolution*.

Harkema has directed the feature films *A Girl Is a Girl* (1999), *Monkey Warfare* (2006) and *Leslie, My Name Is Evil* (2009). He co-directed the documentary *Super Duper Alice Cooper* (2014), which won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Feature Length Documentary.
