René de la Cruz was a Cuban actor. He was born on 3 January 1931 in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, and died on 26 June 2007 in Havana.

De la Cruz appeared in numerous Cuban films and television productions from the 1960s onwards. His credits include a role as Elena's brother in Tomás Gutiérrez Alea's *Memories of Underdevelopment* (1968), as well as appearances in *Cuba '58* (1962) and the television series *Tierra brava* (1997). He also worked in theatre.
