## Biography

Rhatha Phongam is a Thai actress and singer. Born in Bangkok on 19 May 1983, she is the daughter of comedian Noi Phongam.

She began her career in music, releasing a debut album at the age of 16, and later moved into acting. Her early film roles include *Jan Dara: The Beginning* (2012) and *The Protector 2* (2013).

Phongam is known internationally for playing Mai in Nicolas Winding Refn's *Only God Forgives* (2013). Other credits include *Mechanic: Resurrection* (2016), *Lupin the 3rd* (2014) and *Fistful of Vengeance* (2022). She holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Bangkok University.
