Rhys Carter is a television director whose credits include an episode of the long-running BBC medical drama *Casualty* (1986). He previously worked as first assistant director on the series in 2013.

Carter has directed multiple episodes of Welsh-language and Welsh-produced series, including *Pobol y Cwm* (2016–2026), *Gwaith/Cartref* (2016–2018), *Yr Amgueddfa* (2021–2023), *Mudtown* (2024) and *The Light in the Hall* (2025).
