Rhys Coiro is an American actor known for work in film, television and theatre. Born in Calabria, Italy, in 1979, he grew up in the United States and studied at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where he earned a BFA. He also trained at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia.

Coiro is best known for his recurring role as filmmaker Billy Walsh in the HBO series *Entourage* (2004–2011). He has appeared in guest and recurring roles in series including *24* (as Sean Hillinger), *Dexter*, *The Walking Dead*, *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* and *She-Hulk: Attorney at Law*. Film credits include *Straw Dogs* (2011), *Hustlers* (2019) and *Finding Steve McQueen* (2019).

Coiro began his professional career in theatre, with early roles including an understudy part in the American premiere of Conor McPherson’s *This Lime Tree Bower*. He returned to the stage in the 2023 Off-Broadway production of *The Coast Starlight*. He is married to director Kat Coiro.
