Ria Pavia is an American actress, writer, director and acting coach. Born on 8 October 1967 in Ohio, she began her career in the 1980s with a gymnastics performance in a tampon commercial that led to further commercial and acting work.

She is credited as Monica in the 1992 horror film *Candyman*. Other screen roles include Kitty in *Married... with Children* (1988), Gloria in *How I Met Your Mother* (2008), Andrea Zucker in *ER* (1994) and appearances in *Freeway* (1996), *Breast Men* (1997) and *Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman* (1993).

Pavia has also worked as a casting associate on films including *Twister* (credited as Ria Pavia Adler), as a staff writer on the series *Ask Harriet* and *Pauly*, and as a stage director. She has served as an acting and dialogue coach on shows such as *grown-ish* and directed the short film *Second Team* (2020).
