## Biography

Ricardo Mestres is an American film producer. After graduating from Harvard University, he began his career at Paramount Pictures as a development executive for Don Simpson. He later worked for Jeffrey Katzenberg for four years, supervising films including *Beverly Hills Cop* (1984).

In 1984 Mestres joined Walt Disney Productions, where he supervised productions at the Touchstone division. He became president of the newly formed Hollywood Pictures in 1989. His producing credits include *Jack* (1996), *101 Dalmatians* (1996), *Flubber* (1997), *Home Alone 3* (1997, executive producer), *Just Visiting* (2001) and *The Hunted* (2003). He has also served as a production manager on several animated features for Illumination Entertainment.
