## Biography

Richard Blackburn is an American actor, writer and director. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 1982 black comedy film *Eating Raoul* with Paul Bartel, and also appeared in the film as James from the Valley. He served as associate producer on the project.

Blackburn wrote and directed the 1973 horror film *Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural*, in which he also acted. He wrote and directed the episode "Miss May Dusa" for the 1987 horror anthology series *Tales from the Darkside*.
