## Biography

Richard Bruno was an American costume designer whose credits include *Raging Bull* (1980) and *GoodFellas* (1990). He also worked on *Heaven Can Wait* (1978), *The Color of Money* (1986) and *The King of Comedy* (1983).

Bruno began his career in the 1950s at American International Pictures and later served as wardrobe supervisor on films including *Westworld* (1973) and *Chinatown* (1974). He collaborated repeatedly with director Martin Scorsese and actor Robert De Niro. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Costume Design for *GoodFellas* in 1990. Bruno died in Port Townsend, Washington, on 11 January 2012.
