## Biography

Richard C. Arthur, also credited as Ric Arthur, is an American television writer and a Captain in the United States Navy Reserve.

He wrote multiple episodes of the series *NCIS* (2005–2006) and one episode of *Commander in Chief* (2005). Additional writing credits include episodes of *Hawaii Five-0* (2013) and *The Last Ship* (2014). He has also worked as a producer on independent projects.

Arthur is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds a Master's degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. He has served in various naval roles, including tours in East Asia and as a UN peacekeeper in the Western Sahara.
