Richard C. Meyer (5 April 1920 – 19 July 1985) was a German-American film and television editor, occasional writer and producer. Born in Frankfurt, he worked extensively in Hollywood from the 1950s onwards.

Meyer edited numerous feature films, including *Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid* (1969), for which he shared the BAFTA Award for Best Editing with John C. Howard. Other credits include *Men in War* (1957), *Winning* (1969), *Waterloo* (1970), *Capone* (1975) and *Silent Rage* (1982). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Film Editing for the miniseries *King* (1978).
