Richard Ciupka is a Canadian cinematographer and film director. Born in 1950 in Liège, Belgium, he immigrated to the United States at the age of six.

He worked as cinematographer on the 1980 film *Atlantic City*, directed by Louis Malle. His directorial debut was the 1983 horror film *Curtains*, on which he is credited as Jonathan Stryker after leaving the production midway through due to creative differences with the producer. He has also directed episodes of television series including *The Hunger* (1998) and French-language Canadian features such as *La mystérieuse mademoiselle C.* (2002).

Ciupka has worked extensively in television, including as cinematographer on the series *Nouvelle adresse* (2014–2015), for which he received a Gémeaux award for best cinematography in a dramatic series. He has also produced and directed or photographed numerous television commercials in Canada and the United States.
