Richard Cox is a British film and television editor. He has worked extensively on BBC productions, including editing eight episodes of the series *Torchwood* (2006–2008).

His other credits include the *Doctor Who* special *The Next Doctor* (2008), the miniseries *The Murder at Road Hill House* (2011) and *To Walk Invisible* (2016), and series such as *Last Tango in Halifax* (2012–2020), *Gentleman Jack* (2019–2022) and *Vigil* (2021–2023). He has also edited episodes of *Happy Valley* (2014–2023).

Cox is a BAFTA award winner and has received RTS Craft & Design Award nominations.
