Richard Dale is a British director and producer. He began his career at the BBC and directed the first three episodes of the Channel 4 series *Teachers* (2001).

Dale is known for factual dramas and documentaries such as *D-Day 6.6.1944* (2004), *Inside the Twin Towers* (2006), *Moonshot* (2009) and *Earth: One Amazing Day* (2017). He wrote the screenplay for the IMAX film *Walking with Dinosaurs* (2013). In 2005 he founded Dangerous Films Ltd, which was sold to Zodiak in 2009. He has received BAFTA and Emmy nominations.
