## Biography

Richard Hatem is an American screenwriter and producer. He studied film production at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.

His feature credits include the screenplay for *The Mothman Prophecies* (2002) and co-writing *Under Siege 2: Dark Territory* (1995). On television he co-created the series *Miracles* (2003) and *The Gates* (2010), and wrote episodes of *Supernatural* (2005), *Grimm* (2011), *Titans* (2018) and others. He has also served as executive producer on several series and teaches television writing at UCLA Extension.
