## Biography

Richard Holland is a production designer and art director. He began his career in the art department on films including *The Dark Crystal* (1982) and *The Princess Bride* (1987), and later worked as supervising art director on *Batman & Robin* (1997) and *Congo* (1995). He served as production designer on *End of Days* (1999).

Holland has production design credits on family films such as *Alvin and the Chipmunks* (2007), *Hop* (2011), *Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked* (2011) and *Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip* (2015), as well as *The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause* (2006). He was born in 1952 and was previously married to singer Chaka Khan.
