## Biography

Richard Kahan is a Canadian actor and writer. Born in Winnipeg, he began his career as an actor in 1998 and appeared in numerous television series and films, including a main role as Gil Kurvers in the Canadian series *Edgemont* (2001–2005) and a recurring role as Marco Pacella in *The 4400* (2004–2007). He also had guest roles in series such as *Grey's Anatomy*, *Supernatural*, *The Mentalist* and *Smallville*.

Kahan later transitioned into writing and producing. He worked as a writers' assistant on *Outlander* (2014–2017) and received a writing credit for the 2016 episode "Untimely Resurrection". He has since written for *Beacon 23* (2023) and produced films including *Lucky* (2017).
