## Biography

Richard Lang (1939–1997) was an American television and film director and assistant director. He directed episodes of numerous series including *Beverly Hills, 90210* (seven episodes, 1992–1995), *Melrose Place* (17 episodes, 1993–1997), *Charlie's Angels*, *Kung Fu* and *Harry O*.

He began his career as an assistant director on feature films such as *Doctor Dolittle* (1967), *The Detective* (1968) and *Lady in Cement* (1968). Lang also directed television films and later episodes of *Burke's Law* and *Savannah*. He was the son of director Walter Lang and was married to Carole Keppler.
